The Credit Saver: How to Beat the Bank and Win the Credit Game

Dan Osso, Author of "How To Beat The Bank and Win The Credit Game"

The Credit Saver

Over the last thirty years I have bought and sold investment properties, worked as a professional mortgage counselor and an income tax auditor. I have helped people get money from banks to buy homes for their families to live in, consolidate their debts and, when necessary, receive credit counseling.

While working with my clients I always felt an obligation to teach them the "tricks of the trade" so they could save money on their loans, pay them off faster and maintain good credit. My feeling was; I use this information in my life because it works, why not share it with others. Credit is a tool. Like any tool, if you use it properly, it can help you.

One day my boss called me into his office and said, "Dan, I hear what you're teaching your clients and that's very nice, but that's not what we're here for. If they have money problems in the future they'll just come back to us for another loan or to refinance everything anyway. Don't worry about educating your clients, just sell them the loan and get on to the next one."

What he said made me step back and take a hard look at the credit industry in terms of what it was doing and how it was being done. In short, it was like giving a kid a bike and not teaching him how to ride.

I continued to work with my clients as I always did and after a while I started getting feedback from them. It didn't matter if they were young or old, or what their education level was or their station in life, they were all telling me the same thing. That what I had shown them was not only easy to understand and use, it was also saving them a lot of money. It made a difference in their lives.

I realized I could teach people what I knew about using credit. I also realized that doing it one on one wasn't enough. That was like using a cup of water to fill a swimming pool. So I wrote "How To Beat The Bank and Win The Credit Game." I passed copies of it around to my friends in the business to get their opinions, and to make sure I covered everything that needed to be covered. More importantly, to see if it accomplished what I'd set out to do - make it easy to read, simple to use, and affordable.

You see, unless you've gone to school for banking or accounting, this stuff is generally not taught to you. It should be, and for a good reason. Using credit is something you have no choice about, you can't avoid debt in your life. If you don't now, sooner or later, you or someone you know will need to borrow money or use credit in some form. I guarantee it!

Here's what others have said about this course.

School boards across the country should require every student to read this book. If I had read this book 20 years ago, I would probably be retired by now!

I cannot stress enough the value and importance of this information for helping you get a handle on your finances, and your credit. If "How To Beat The Bank and Win The Credit Game" doesn't show you exactly what I'm saying it does; or does not give you something that will help you or someone you know, something that can be used to handle your debts better, just send it back to me in a useable unmarked condition and I will give you your money back. No questions asked. . . it's that simple.
